Installation of Pan Beam PB 24 with Beam Steering

For the conference and sound reinforcement system in the Jordanian Parliament in Amman, Pan Acoustics' Jordanian distribution partner Girhoma chose the intelligent, electronically controllable PB 24 line array loudspeakers due to their excellent speech intelligibility and elegant, slim design.

The big challenge for Girhoma's engineers was the layout of the hall, which resembles an amphitheater in which a conventional system could not cover all the seats with a height difference of over four meters between the lowest and highest seats. In addition, a solution had to be found for the highly reflective walls, which caused a confusing sound distribution with long reverberation times. The 2.40 meter Pan Beam systems with multi-beam technology provided the solution by directing 3 beams to the different levels.

Following the completion of the integration with the Televic conference system and the full installation of the Pan Beam systems, the Members of Parliament are very satisfied with the high level of speech intelligibility throughout the conference area.
