It has never been easier to turn old into new.
Power supply, audio data and control - all over a conventional two-wire cable as found in a classic, passive speaker setup or a 70/100V installation. This is made possible by our in-house developed Pan Acoustics Pan 2-Line technology, which transforms a passive sound reinforcement system into an active solution.
The highlight: the active, digitally controllable line array loudspeakers from the Pan 2-Line series can be integrated directly into the existing cabling of the previous installation. The building fabric remains untouched. This is ideal for the preservation of historical monuments and it reduces total system costs.

read moreThe PB 08-P2L is a compact, active, digitally controllable line source with Beam Steering and Pan 2-Line technology in an attractive design, developed for high-quality speech and music transmissions. The PB 08-P2L features Pan Audio DSP and Pan 2-Line technology. With this technology, audio, control data and the power supply can be transmitted over two wires (2-wire) such as speaker cables or cables of an already existing 100V installation. A Central Control Unit (CCU) is required to feed the signals and the voltage.

Individual lacquering / colouring in the RAL system. Other colour systems such as RAL design, Pantone etc. are possible on request.
Individual cabinet length of the speaker is possible. The enclosures of the Pan Speaker series can be customised to customer dimensions.
Analog audio inputs with balanced signal routing
Digital audio input: supports 2 x AES/EBU (AES3) and 1 x anlaog audio (failover function)
Digital audio network DANTE incl. AES67 support. Supports redundant network structure with Pan Net control and 1 x analogue audio (failover function).
100V audio inputs with different power taps.
Pilot tone evaluation for integration in SAA/ ENS systems.
Pan Net - Pan Acoustics' proprietary control and monitoring protocol.
General Purpose Output (GPO) Switchable contact e.g. for status request by means of downstream media control.
Priority switching - Automatic switching of the audio inputs, e.g. between program and announcement.
DC input for operation on emergency power supplies.
Weatherproofing of the loudspeakers can be achieved via protection classes IP54 or IP65 (depending on the model).
Accessories such as wall, stand and ceiling mounts, various interfaces, connection cables, weather protection hoods and connection sets are available.
