The award by the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce went to an entrepreneur for the first time. Pan Acoustics succeeded in developing a simulator for the acoustic replication of a real aircraft turbine for DLR. The method makes it possible to research sound generation and transmission and to develop suitable noise reduction measures to noticeably increase the well-being of aircraft passengers.
