Even though it wasn't quite enough for first place, Pan Acoustics' Managing Director Udo Borgmann was delighted when Economics Minister Olaf Lies presented the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award in Hanover yesterday. The loudspeaker manufacturer was one of a total of five companies from Lower Saxony nominated in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and was thus recognized for its export successes.
"All nominees are winners," Lies emphasized during the ceremonial presentation of the certificates and, like the other selected companies, attested Pan Acoustics special innovative strength and high intercultural competencies. These, he said, were necessary in order to adapt to the international market and its customers. "You have contributed to the internationalization of Lower Saxony as a business location through particularly successful commitment," thanked the Minister of Economics.
Borgmann was already nominated in 2014 with his company, which develops and manufactures loudspeaker systems in Wolfenbüttel, and has since been able to further boost its foreign business. "We now export to over 20 countries worldwide. Our loudspeakers are already being used on four continents," lists the managing director and company founder of Pan Acoustics. Further markets are to be added, Borgmann announces.
